2007 Ducati 1098S Tricolore (30,401 Miles)

In 2007 Ducati released their newly redesigned flagship Superbike, the 1098.  The successor to the 999 Superbike, the 1098 was an immediate hit as customers were drawn to the improvements to performance, price point, and design aesthetic.  In '07, the 1098 was produced in three trim levels, the standard 1098, the S model and the top version, the 1098S Tricolore.

The Tricolore came with upgraded fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Öhlins steering damper and  forged aluminum Marchesini wheels.  It also came with a full Termignoni race exhaust system and upgraded ECU.  Of course it also has the tremendously beautiful red, white and green paint livery (the colors of the Italian national flag) accented by the gold frame, wheel set and tank stripe.  A carbon fiber front fender was also included with this version.

Ducati produced 1,275 total for the worldwide market.  The amount brought to the US  is much lower, but exact figures are not available.

The previous owner upgraded the bike with some very nice components.  It has fully adjustable Acculign rear sets, Speedymoto open clutch cover & pressure plate,  as well as list of carbon fiber parts including: rear wheel hugger, ignition surround, dash surround, and swingarm cover.

This specific bike has been well loved over the years and currently shows 30,401 miles on the odometer.  There are some signs of road wear that can be seen in the photos.

It recently had an oil and oil filter service.  A new set of Michelin Pilot Power 5 tires and new chain and sprockets were installed in the last 500 miles.

Two black keys are included as well as the key code card and Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA).
