2007 Ducati Sport 1000 SE #28/100 (5,016 Miles)

This Stunning 2007 Ducati Sport 1000SE is #28 of only 100 produced in the world.  One of the rarest Ducati models made, it is highly sought after and highly collectable.  This specific bike is in pristine condition and has been extensively upgraded.

In 2007 Ducati produced a North America only limited production run of the Sport 1000 Monoposto which they called the Sport 1000 SE (Special Edition).  This production run was limited to 100 total units, 10 for Canada and 90 for the US. 

The Monoposto (single seat) has a dry clutch and an asymmetrical swingarm, while later version Sport Classic models utilized a wet clutch and were Biposto (two seater).  The SE is painted in black with gold striping and uses the double-line Ducati logo from the late 70's/early 80s and is an homage to the 1978 Ducati 900 SS "Darmah".

This specific SE is outfitted with a tremendous list of top-spec upgraded components.  

Here we go.  

Alpina Pro Carbon Matrix tubeless spoke wheels are installed with upgraded Brembo HP front brake rotors.  The front brake calipers are replaced with larger Discacciati 4-piston calipers.

A matching Brembo rear brake rotor is installed with an upgraded Brembo rear caliper and Demontech hanger.

Ohlins fully adjustable forks are installed along with an Ohlins rear shock and Ohlins steering damper.  The bike has Brembo RCS19 front brake and clutch radial master cylinders with Fren Tubo steel braided lines.

A very-rare OEM full Shark exhaust system is installed.  It is part of a special promotion in 2007 that Ducati ran offering a shark exhaust free with the purchase of a sport classic.

- Caswell coated gas tank with paint protection film (PPF)

- Dash lowering relocation kit

- Yoyodyne quick turn throttle

- Power Commander III

- The top triple clamp, headlight surround and horn covers are powder coated black

The bike was serviced May '23 by Ducati Master tech Bill Dahl at Redmond Motorsports.  The bike received new timing belts, Pirelli tires, oil and oil filter replacement and brake & clutch fluid flush.

The owner's manual and two black keys are included.
