This motorcycle began its life as a Z900RS Cafe.  Kawasaki designed the Z900RS Cafe to resemble their legendary 1972 model, the Z1, which at its time was the fastest Japanese four-cylinder motorcycle ever sold.

Back to this 2018 model, the Z900RS Cafe uses an inline 4 cylinder 948cc liquid cooled motor that produces 110 peak horsepower and 74.6 ft/pounds of torque.  It has a beautiful lime green paint scheme, which includes a matching headlight fairing and upswept tail section.

The sole previous owner of this bike took this platform and has transformed it into it current state with a long list of the best upgrades.  The stock suspension is replaced with a set of fully adjustable Adriani fork cartridges, and an Ohlins rear shock including a replacement shock linkage to slightly raise up the ride height and give the bike a shorter wheelbase and quicker handling.  The front brake system has been upgraded with a Brembo RCS 19 master cylinder and strainless steel brake lines.  The stock exhaust is replaced with a black ceramic coated Akrapovic header and a British made, Black widow carbon fiber exhaust canister.

The most significant upgrade to this bike is the set of Yoshimura racing cams that were professionally installed by Bill Dahl of Redmond Motorsports with a custom dyno tuned fuel map created by the folks at 2 Wheel Dynoworks.  This along with upgraded velocity stacks and a K&N air filter gives the bike a tremendous increase in peak horsepower, 117hp at 9,000 RPM (see dyno chart in images).

Other nice upgraded components include: Carbon fiber front and rear wheel huggers, Motogadget bar end turn signals and bar end mirrors, Yoshimura radiator guard, frame and front axle sliders, Rizoma handlebar, SW motech saddlebags, fender eliminator kit and a lowered seat.

This bike comes with the stock cafe style headlight fairing with a Yoshimura smoked taller windscreen (and stock windscreen), stock exhaust, stock seat and the original cams.

It received its most recent service less than 1,000 miles ago where it had a new set of Michelin Road 5 tires mounted and oil & oil filter replacement. 

Both original keys and owners manual are also included.
